MASON BEE

 

Mason Bees are beneficials because they are mega pollinators from the local area. It takes about 60,000 honey bees to pollinate an acre of fruit trees while it only takes about 400 mason bees to do the same job.

 

How do I attract mason bees?

 

Create mason bee tunnels that they can use as a nesting place to lay their eggs. Each solitary female bee is a queen that lays eggs and raises offspring on her own.
