Radish

Zinnia

Tips: Zinnias are annuals, which means they only survive for one season. Replant the next growing season for more flowers.

Flower fun: Each zinnia seed becomes a plant that grows many flowers of the same color.

Beets

Days to Harvest: 50-60 Days

Height: 12-18 inches

Sun/shade: Full sun

Tips: Young and old beets can be roasted or boiled and added to salads. Use leaves as a delicious leafy green in stir fries.

Flower Fun: These leaves have an amazing buttery texture and sweet flavor. Perfect for a delicious summer salad.

Container Lettuce

Planting Season: Spring in cool climates

Germination Time: 7-14 Days

Days to Harvest: 45-55 Days

Height: 6 inches

Sun/shade: Full sun/partial shade

Tips: Excel in cool, moist conditions. Leaves are slightly sweet and have a delicious and buttery texture that's perfect for salads.

Carrot

Germination Time: 10-20 Days

Days to Harvest: 65-75 Days

Height: 6-12 Inches

Tips: Make sure soil is stone-free in an area that receives lots of sun.
